Life Updates…Long Over Due

Okay, so I promised that I would write here at least once a week. Well, I guess I lied because…I didn’t.

To be fair, we’ve been busy. The BER months were super busy. I got married and we went to Orlando and then I got Covid and then all of a sudden it was February.

So…

Wedding!

The wedding was amazing! And so much fun!

We spent the rest of the week with my family in Arkansas to celebrate Thanksgiving.

December was busy too. We went to Disney World and Universal Studios with our kids. Super crowded, but super fun. I’ll share some pics (not of my kids because some of you reading this are creeps…statistically speaking) There’s a lot of food pics. I’m one of those people.

I could have spent the entire time in the Harry Potter World at Universal. It was incredible!!!

Other happenings…

Well, I’m still writing on my vampire novel. It’s super snarky and fun and I can’t wait until the world can read it! I guess I should write more for that to happen, huh?

I have other writing secrets that I’m not sharing with you right now…more on that later. Maybe. Maybe not. I’m not spilling any tea. And don’t you ask me anything either. I’m weak! I’ll fold!

Anyways…I’m still on the job search. This is the most frustrating thing on the entire planet to me right now (well, that and trying to parent two middle schoolers. Parenting middle schoolers isn’t for the weak just so you know). I’m basically either overqualified or underqualified for everything except education jobs which I have no desire for right now. When you get burned, you just can’t get out of the ash for a little bit.

SO…I’ve applied to so many different jobs and have settled on trying to get a job in college admissions. I feel like that is a good environment for me and would play on my strengths. We’ll see if someone will give me a chance. I’ve only applied to a million jobs out there.
